Hi there! My name is Julia Shawver and I am a senior at James Madison University. I am majoring in Media Arts and Design, concentrating in Integrated Advertising and Corporate Communication, with a minor in Art. I will graduate in May of 2018.

I am an imaginative and driven individual, and am very passionate about my work. My interests include traveling, reading, writing, and drawing; I love to be creative in any capacity. I am seeking a career in the advertising, marketing, public relations, communications, or social media strategy fields. Since August 2017, I have been an intern for JMU’s office of communications and marketing, writing for the university’s student life blog, The Daily Duke. This has been an exciting opportunity, and I can’t wait to start my career in a similar setting.
